Editor has three different Editor modes:
Bubble editing is designed to have all the fast editing options of inline editing (i.e. a single click to activate) without the potential layout issues that inline editing presents.
This example shows bubble editing, with the primary editing options still available with row selection provided by the first column (the checkbox shown is
provided by Select's select-checkbox
column class), since a click in
the other cells will activate the bubble editing interface.
The bubble editing interface of Editor is activated by the bubble()
API method. Simply pass in the cell you want to edit as the first parameter. Editor will attempt to automatically determine
which parameter is to be edited. Alternatively, or if Editor is unable to determine the field automatically, use the second parameter to tell it which field(s) to
edit.
The Javascript shown below is used to initialise the table shown in this example:

In addition to the above code, the following Javascript library files are loaded for use in this example:
Editor submits and retrieves information by Ajax requests. The two blocks below show the data that Editor submits and receives, to and from the server. This is updated live as you interact with Editor so you can see what is submitted.
The following shows the data that has been submitted to the server when a request is made to add, edit or delete data from the table.
